We practiced grouping 10 together with double digits.
For example: 2+7+8+3+11+2+9+8+14+5+6+15=?
Students need to find 2&8=10, 7&3=10, 11&9=20, 2&8=10, 14&6=20, and 5&15=20. Students need to add three 10 and three 20 together to find that the answer is 90.
