Announcement:
We will have a Chinese New Year celebration on Feb. 19th from 07:00PM to 08:00PM at the Gym. I plan to let students sing some Chinese songs we learned from class and dance to “xiao ping guo- little apple”.
There are many activities such as Chinese music performance, Diabolo (Chinese yo-yo), Chinese paper cutting, Calligraphy (New Year’s couplet), Using chopsticks to pick up beans, Hook bottles on a string, and snack (Rice cake). Please come with your family to celebrate the Chinese New Year with us and have fun.

We did homework in class today because of the Chinese New Year celebration. I was very surprised that many students can finished their Chinese & math homework in 10 minutes. About 20% of students completed in 10 minutes and majority of students completed in 12 to 15 minutes. only few students need more then 15 minutes. I am so proud of our students because last week some parents said that math homework was too difficult for our students but this week many students said that this is so easy. Thank you all parents for helping students at home.
